It is Sunday and you want to start your day with a delicious brunch? Then make sure to read this recipe… These Chocolate Chip Cookie Pancakes with a peanuty flavour is just the recipe you‘re searching for. Once you know it you will never want to miss it again. Pinky Promise. My mouth is already watering again when I think about this delicious pancakes I actually just had this morning. But before we start I have to apologise for the long recipe break but I enjoyed myself on a farm in Austria and in Italy. Nevertheless it is time for a new recipe and I think this is just the perfect one. Swing your butt into your kitchen and let us begin….

Sundays are better with pancakes! Let’s face it, everything is better with pancakes!

It is the truth 🙂

Needed ingredients:
  • 5 Tbsp wheat flour
  • 3-4 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 100-200ml milk (depending on the consistency)
  • 1 Tbsp peanut butter
  • Chocolate Chips
  • butter (to butter the pan)

I started by mixing together wheat flour with some sugar. Then I added the egg and mixed everything together. While combining everything I slowly poured some milk in the bowl to create the perfect consistency to bake the pancakes. You could also miss the sugar if you want it less sweet but I like it better with sugar but you already know that I‘m a sweet tooth. Anyways, I added some natural peanut butter to the butter and combined everything. At this part I already fried the pancakes in the pan and sprinkled the chocolate chips on the pancakes in the pan which is a bit stressful so I would recommend to add them to the dough. But that is a question of preference. But don‘t forget to butter the pan:). And maybe start with high heat and fry the second round of pancakes on lower heat to ensure the golden brown colour.

Needed Ingredients:

Toppings of your choice… I used

  • Chocolate Chips
  • Cookie Cereals
  • 1 Tbsp Chocolate Spread
  • butter

“{…} It‘s so hard. Can we skip to the good part {…}“ (“the good part“ by AJR) – Do you know the song? I think it perfectly describes the pancake baking process. But now the good part: topping the pancakes. You can basically use anything you like. But I put some chocolate spread, as well as chocolate chips, cookie cereals and some butter on top….

Ready to eat and enjoy your brunch/breakfast (or whenever you want to eat it)

Recipe

  • Combine the wheat flour with a bit of  sugar and the egg as well as some milk until you got the perfect pancake consistency. Then add some peanut butter and the chocolate chips.

  • Butter the pan and put a bit of the dough in. Fry the pancake until it has a golden brown colour. Repeat this with the entire dough.

  • Garnish your pancakes with toppings of your choice. I used some chocolate spread, cookie cereals, chocolate chips and a bit butter.
