A warm and fluffy chocolate cake that melts in your mouth….
It was actually my intention to bake a fudge brownie but we hadn‘t enough eggs and here we are with the Brownie inspired chocolate cake which is really fluffy and melts in your mouth. I promised you a chocolate cake a few months ago so this is the perfect coincidence. So explore the taste of my Brownie inspired chocolate cake and discover the dark side of the higher chocolate arts. Just joking:) But that is enough for now. Let us begin to prepare this tasty brownie…
Step by step recipe
As you see on the picture the cake is a bit crumbly which isn‘t caused because it is too dry but the missing egg, so don‘t worry about this if you use an extra egg it won’t be that crumbly. But now we should really start with the recipe because I think you don‘t opened this page for reading my thoughts which you might not be interested in.
The first step is all about mixing. Obviously. It is a cake – isn‘t it. But actually not mixing but melting. We break the chocolate into small pieces and put it into a pot with some butter. Then melt it on lower heat.
But the next step is all about mixing. We mix the flour, with cocoa powder and sugar as well as baking soda. We give it a good mix. Stir, stir, stir,……. And then we mix the egg with some vanilla sugar and mix it until it is creeeeaaaammmmmyyyyy. Okay, that was a bit strange. Nevermind:).
Be prepared for the next step which about mixing. Yeah, we love mixing. (Meant ironically) However, it is important. Pour the saucy (is this a word?) melted chocolate to the creamy egg and stir, stir, stir,…. You know the game. Afterwards take the flour mix and sift it to the eggy chocolate. Aaaaaand….. guess what! Mix it.
Preheat the oven at 200°C and grease the baking pan. Then give the chocolate dough into the baking pan and bake for 25-30min.

- 200g wheat flour
- 200g sugar white
- 50g cocoa powder
- 1 egg
- 200-250ml almond drink or milk
- 250g dark chocolate
- 100g butter
- 2 Tablespoon sunflower oil
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
