I should have named my blog like that. I will remember for next life. But now it is time for a new cookie. An absolutely awesome one which is for everyone who doesn‘t like dark chocolate (even though it is hard to imagine because I love any kind of chocolate) but also for those who like chocolate of course. In a short way: every human being should try it because it is just delicious. In this cookie you will find a balanced mix of almonds and white chocolate which is just amazingly good. I thought of adding some almond butter as a filling but quit it because I think the cookie would be too rich then. Anyways, I hope you are graving cookies now….
Recipe (long form with background information and many jokes)
Let‘s get started…
First I mixed butter with brown sugar and white sugar. I basically used the same recipe for all four kinds of cookies I made, so there might be similar steps for preparation. Then I added an egg and combined everything. Afterwards I put wheat flour, almond flour, baking powder, a little salt and sliced almonds in the bowl with the egg and sugar mix. Stir, stir, stir,…. You know the game. After combining everything I cut the white chocolate in little pieces and added it to the mixture.
I preheated the oven at 180 degree celsius and laid a parchment paper on a baking tray.
With the dough I formed little balls which I placed on the baking tray. Afterwards I pressed those balls into cookies shape and sprinkled them with white chocolate and some sliced almonds. Then I baked it for 15 minutes in the preheated oven.

- 100g butter (room temperature)
- 40g sugar (white)
- 60g sugar (brown)
- 1 egg
- 110g wheat flour
- 30g almonds (sliced)
- 20g almond flour
- baking powder
- a little bit of salt
- white chocolate
